We recognise that all staff, Members and others associated with the Council are often the first to realise that there may be something seriously wrong. Whistleblowing, enabled by this policy, provides a structured way for this important information to come to light.

Bribery is a criminal offence. As a council, we do not and will not, pay or receive bribes to anyone for any purpose. We are committed to the prevention, deterrence and detection of bribery.

We require that all personnel working for or on behalf of the council must act with honesty and integrity at all times.
