Street Naming Order 2021 Bath (No. 1) Foundry Lane

  1. Bath & North East Somerset Council is the Street Naming Authority for the city of Bath.
  2. The Council has given public notice on site in accordance with Section 18 Public Health Act 1925 of its intention to name a new street.
  3. No objections were deposited at Bath Magistrates’ Court in response to the site notice within the prescribed time.
  4. The Council therefore declares that the street marked on the attached plan is named:

    Foundry Lane

The Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in pursuance of Section 4(1) of the Regulations that an application has been received for the following premises to be licenced for the solemnisation of Marriages and Civil Partnerships

Naming of new streets in South Stoke

Notice is hereby given that on or after 1 February 2021, Bath and North East Somerset Council will make an order (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Order’) under Section 18 of the Public Health Act 1925. The effect of the Order will be to name new roads indicated on the attached plan 'Harrison Down', 'Peacock Way', 'Souls Road', 'Ringlet Road', 'Derrymans Green', 'Adonis Blue Way', 'Skippers Road', 'Admiral Road'.

Naming of a new street in Keynsham

Notice is hereby given that on or after 1 February 2021, Bath and North East Somerset Council will make an order (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Order’) under Section 18 of the Public Health Act 1925. The effect of the Order will be to name new road indicated on the attached plan 'Chantry View'.

Any person aggrieved by the intended order may within 21 days after the date of this notice appeal to Bath and Wansdyke Magistrates’ Court at North Parade Road, Bath, BA1 5AF. 

Naming of a new street in Midsomer Norton

Notice is hereby given that on or after 1 February 2021, Bath and North East Somerset Council will make an order (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Order’) under Section 18 of the Public Health Act 1925. The effect of the Order will be to name new road indicated on the attached plan 'Brewery Court'.

Any person aggrieved by the intended order may within 21 days after the date of this notice appeal to Bath and Wansdyke Magistrates’ Court at North Parade Road, Bath, BA1 5AF. 

Street Naming Order 2019 Bath (No 3) St James's Mews

  1. Bath and North East Somerset Council is the Urban Authority for the purposes of the Public Health Act 1925 for the City of Bath.
  2. On 31st October 2018, the Council gave notice in accordance with Section 18 Public Health Act 1925 of its intention to make an order to name a street to which a name has not been given.
  3. An appeal against the intended order was made to Bath Magistrates Court.

Street Naming Order 2020 Batheaston (No 1) The Copse, Batheaston

  1. Bath & North East Somerset Council is the Street Naming Authority for the parish of Batheaston.
  2. The Council has given public notice on site in accordance with Section 18 Public Health Act 1925 its intention to name a new street.
  3. No objections were deposited at Bath Magistrates’ Court in response to the site notice within the prescribed time.
  4. The Council therefore declares that the street marked on the attached plan is named:

    The Copse

PROPOSAL TO CLOSE CAMERTON CHURCH SCHOOL, CAMERTON, BA2 0PS

The proposal

Bath and North East Somerset Council is proposing to close Camerton Church School in Camerton. Before this change can be made the Council is required to publish a statutory notice detailing how the full proposal can be accessed and how comments can be submitted.
