(THTTC2967 REDFIELD ROAD / PROVIDENCE PLACE, MIDSOMER NORTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

 

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Redfield Road, Midsomer Norton from its junction with Paulton Road extending to its junction with Steam Mills / Withes Lane USRN: 47917437, and Providence Place from outside property 23 extending to the property know as ‘Dunvegan’ USRN: 47903281.

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to excavate highway to lay duct and fibre optic cable for ultrafast broadband network by Truespeed Communications on the 24th October 2022 for a maximum period of 7 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Steam Mills – Millfield – Laburnam Grove – Paulton Road – vice Versa. (Access maintained to residents)
