Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of parking to all motor vehicles.
The Bath and North East Somerset Council (Various Roads, North East Outer Area, Bath) (Prohibition and Restrictionof Parking and Loading) (No Stopping on Entrance Markings) (Authorised and Designated Parking Places) (Variation No.2) Order 2022 is temporarily amended with the attached Plan 1 to this Order. The effect of this Order is to introduce an extension to the ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions on St Saviours Road near its junction with Claremont Road. The reason is to prevent parked vehicles from obstructing visibility at a junction and to ensure the safe passage of vehicles.
This order is required to facilitate visibility at a junction and to ensure the safe passage of vehicles by Bath and North East Somerset Council on the 18th December 2023for a maximum period of 18 months.
