(THTTC3027 PARSONAGE LANE, PUBLOW)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Parsonage Lane, Publow, from its point outside the property known as Butts Farm extending east for approximately 120 metres. USRN: 47919202.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to repair a disused railway bridge owned by the Department for Transport by Hammond (ECS) Ltd on the 23^rd January 2023 for a maximum period of 3 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

These works are taking place in two phases between the following dates:

• Phase 1 - 23^rd January until 3^rd February 2023, between 09:00–14:30hrs Monday to Friday only
• Phase 2 - 3^rd March until 17^th March 2023, between 09:00–14:30hrs Monday to Friday only

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Parsonage Lane (remainder) – Publow Lane – A37 New Road – A37 Pensford Hill – Parsonage Lane – Vice Versa.
