Notice is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make

an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in Greenway Lane, Bath from but not including its junction with Entry Hill to a point 175m north east of the junction of Greenway Lane and Entry Hill.




This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road consequent upon kerbing and footway resurfacing works in the carriageway by Bath and North East Somerset Council and will be operative from the 5th March 2018 for a maximum period of THREE MONTHS. However, the restrictions may not be effected for the whole of the period but it is anticipated that the road will be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessary to execute the works which it is anticipated that the works will take 5 days. Works to be undertaken 0700hrs to 1700hrs.



Clockwise: Old Wells Road (Devonshire Villas), A367 Wellsway, A367 Wells Road, A36 (Churchill Gyratory), A36 Claverton Street, Claverton Street (eastbound), Pulteney Road, A36 Rossiter Road, A36 Claverton Street (westbound), Lyncombe Hill and Greenway Lane.
