(THTTC3215 FROME OLD ROAD, RADSTOCK)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Frome Old Road, Radstock from its junction with A362 Frome Road extending south east for approximately 60 metres. USRN: 47903362. Residents will not be able to access Frome Road from Carlingford Terrace and will need to follow the diversion.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable BW Construction & Landscaping Ltd to carry out repairs on a boundary wall on the 4^th September 2023 for a maximum period of 2 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWO WEEKS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

Frome Old Road (remainder) – Access Road to Southfield – A362 Frome Road – Vice Versa.

From Carlingford Terrace – Access Road to Southfield – A362 Frome Road – Vice Versa.
